Hired Attorney

Lauren showed up for court several times unprepared. She had a month to prepare for trial yet failed to make sure proper motions were filed. The judge refused to hear us. During arbitration she was not prepared for questioning. There were long pauses as she tried to make up questions on the spot. I was billed 5 hours to review a document related to a expert witness. It was returned to me in it's original envelope sealed. She did not timely follow-up when my ex did not turn in his evidence resulting in lost text messages that would have proven he was working and carrying on an affair. I relied on her expertise to formulate the strategy for the arbitration despite having serious doubts of it's success. She didn't call key witnesses. She turned in evidence with errors, and failed to used other critical information about his behavior and the value of my business. Her legal bills were double my ex's. The outcome - the judge thought my alcoholic, drub abusing ex was a good guy.
