Jeannie Ridings seemed very competent and asked pertinent questions. She was going to check on our claim of bullying but needed to check employment/labor law versus contractual law because we have a union contract. To my knowledge, Jeannie never got back to us regarding any options we had legally to bring a suit. I was working with another person, as well as several others who were involved. At the time, she said they had a big case going on and it might take some time to research.
AWFUL representation for a single mom who was financially, emotionally and physically abused. I believe that because I was struggling financially, they didn't care to spend even a fraction of a minute trying to fight for me. I was left feeling judged, and unprotected after my divorce. Ex was allowed to take our entire savings, steal as much furniture out of my home that he could, use our savings to move in with his pregnant mistress, allow our vehicle to get re-poed AT MY WORK, and he only ended up owing roughly $155/week for two children because of some imaginary income they calculated that i didn't make at the time. I petitioned for relocation,and had to forgive $9k in arrearshe now hasn't paid a dime since 2020. Lost his job which in turn lost my children's medical insurance and collected unemployment while I struggled to piece our lives together. Being young and unaware of any sort of court processes or rights, I believed this was just normal. It's not. No enforcement? Really?
