About Edward J. Calderaro

Edward J. Calderaro was born in 1966, and grew up on the north side of Chicago. Mr. Calderaro moved to Indiana, married and began an eleven year career in law enforcement. Mr. Calderaro worked for the City of Gary and the Town of Dyer, as a police officer. While working full time, he pursued his education, graduating "with distinction" from Purdue University. Mr. Calderaro obtained a Bachelor Degree in Management, with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Mr. Calderaro left law enforcement after being accepted to Loyola Law School in Chicago. He received his Juris Doctorate degree and Certificate in Tax Law. Upon graduation, Mr. Calderaro joined the law firm of Sachs & Hess, P.C. He focuses his practice in Family Law and Criminal Law. Mr. Calderaro is available to represent clients throughout Indiana including: Hammond, Gary, East Chicago, Crown Point, Munster, Highland, Griffith, Dyer, St. John, Hobart, Valparaiso, Lake County, Porter County, LaPorte County, Jasper County and Newton County, Indiana.

Attorney Calderaro! Was awesome, he really really helped me and basically saved my life. He is such a wonderful soul, and hard working person. He is honest, straightforward and easy to talk to! He is realistic! And that’s what’s I love about him as my attorney. He understands real life and adapts it to his cases and I would recommend him to anyone!

Hired Attorney

Due to the severity of our case, Mr. Calderaro handled the situation and our family as a whole with extreme knowledge, passion, understanding, and ability. Mr. Calderaro is extremely powerful in Indiana. I would recommend him for any case. He comes across strong and rough around the edges, but the man gets the job done. I would use him again in a minute.

As this was a very difficult time for me due to the fact that I was blindsided by my husband's infidelity & his filing for divorce after 33 years, Ed was very understanding of my emotions and made sure that I understood the law and what I was entitled to. In addition, he made me feel that he was going to fight for me. In addition, his paralegal, Frances Pnakovich, was a huge help to me. I am so glad that this firm was recommended to me.

Very unprofessional behavior!! Does not know how to properly talk to people. Unbelievably rude and disgusting. Would not let me finish a single sentence, interrupted me every time I spoke. I would never in a million years recommend someone this vile.
