When can a person get their discovery packets?

It would be pretty stupid to send discovery into jail? What is a witness gets killed? And, why would a public defender talk to you? You are not even married to the guy much less the client of the public defender. If you really care about your boyfriend, why don't you hire a lawyer to help him?

What can happen if I was intoxicated and took unprescribed medication?

You are not going to be successful; with any argument that you actions were "not intended". You have had experience with PAXIL in the past. n fact, you admit in your statement that you have had past intoxication involving Paxil and alcohol. As such, you knew, the potential consequences when you drank with your friend and then consumed Paxil (which was not even legally prescribed to you). Based upon what you have told me, you have no defense to your actions.

What should I do if I received a tree stand from a friend and now being charged for a possession of stolen item?

Answered by attorney Nathaniel D Shafer
Criminal Law lawyer at Natty Shafer Law
You should definitely get a lawyer to help you fight this charge. The prosecution will need to prove that you knew or should have known that the tree stand was stolen. The prosecutor will have a much harder time convicting you if you have a good lawyer helping you.
