Can I expunge a criminal charge for writing bad checks?

Depends on the final disposition of the case. If the case was dismissed of you were found not guilty, then it is possible to have it expunged.

Will he get jail time for a felony charge and a probation?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)

Many things could happen just depending on the charges, the counties he is in, the attitude of the prosecutors, etc. Some times they try to help people get over addiction problems because incarceration just is housing for a short period?of time and will not help. Some times the participants just do not care. He needs a good lawyer. He may need to find another in-patient rehab (especially if he has insurance) - more often than not it takes multiple tries to help someone get over their addiction - and this is even assuming that they want help. (If they don't want help, nothing anyone else does will help them get over their addiction.)

Would somebody get in trouble for kicking another person out of their car, leaving them stranded?

Only if there is an argument to be made that the person was kidnapped - if they were lied to about where they were being taken and the driver instead dumped them some place else.
