How do I take care of an out of state misdemeanor warrant in Texas if I live in Mississippi

Cordt Cullen Akers
Answered by attorney Cordt Cullen Akers (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Akers Firm PLLC
Unfortunately you can't avoid it.  You must eventually answer the warrant and go to court.  Make sure before you do, hire a Texas criminal defense lawyer to work on your case, walk you throught he bonding process, and hopefully make sure you stay out of jail.

Answered by attorney Patrick Short

The answer is yes. Venue would be in the county of the alleged offense. I would encourage you to call a Texas criminal defense attorney as soon as you can. And, remember to NOT discuss your case with anyone until you speak to a lawyer.  Patrick Short

How can I get these false charges removed?

Answered by attorney Lucio Antonio Montes (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Montes Law Firm
You need to contact a local criminal defense attorney as soon as possible. You will have to defend against the charge. You can not just waive the charges away. If you are not guilty of the crime that you are being accused of committing, then yes there are ways to fight the case. Good luck.
