Will m my mom get reinstated on probation?

Richard Keith Oliver
Answered by attorney Richard Keith Oliver (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Law Office of Rick Oliver
With the information provided, there's no way for anyone to tell you whether your Mom will be reinstated. But, if she was reset from the 6th to the 9th, what she should be doing is as much community service as she can possibly do. If she can catch up, great. If not, she can at least go to court and demonstrate that she is making an effort, and that she should not be revoked. If that's the only violation she has, it should help. The worst thing she can do is nothing. Also, she should not go into court and attempt to explain why she didn't get it done. I've never seen a judge respond well to that.

What happens if I wasn't read my miranda rights while I was arrested?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
No the charges will not be dropped for that reason. The only result in a failure to give Miranda rights is the suppression of any inculpatory (guilty) statements made in response to interrogation while in custody.

What charges or what will I face for using someone else's credit card?

Answered by attorney Shannon Willis Locke
Criminal Law lawyer at The Locke Law Group
As a former White Collar Crime Prosecutor and a Board Certified Criminal Defense Attorney I have seen this situation many times. Right now, an attorney can do you the most good. Unfortunately, it is also the time you are least likely to hire a lawyer. Using someone else's credit card without authorization is a felony. Do not make any statements to anyone. Even saying your sorry or trying to fix it with your old boss could be used against you, however, a lawyer can do all these things for you and maybe allow you to avoid prosecution.
