What can someone do about an interstate parole violation and how long can they be held?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
Is he still under jurisdiction from the original state? They should be the one coming to get him. If no word from the courts or probation as to what is going on, get an attorney involved right away.

Can I be charged with a felony if the theft victims do not press charges?

Yes you can if the police find out. However, in a theft case if the victim doesn't want to press charges there will probably be none. I would advise you to give the money back. Even if charged it would help you a great deal in your case.

Probably probation, community service and a fine. When you violate probation by testing positive for drugs you will get jail time.
