Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
The civil order will either be in effect 6 months or 12 months, and has nothing to do with the criminal case, which means if the criminal case goes away the civil order does not.

Criminal Law lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
It depends upon how you are charged, the statute you are charged with violating, and what it says. This could be a life felony and could be an imprisonment for up to 30 years.

Can I get my court date pushed back?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Absolutely. As long as you are just not wasting time. You don't have to be represented by an attorney you don't like. But if it is court appointed you pretty much get what you pay for, so the options aren't great
