Can my husband be on probation for moving to another country without asking?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Sounds fishy. If they transferred his probation, then they knew he was leaving and okayed it. Talk to the probation department, probably just a miscommunication somewhere.

Do I need an attorney or just talk to states attorney at a pre-trial hearing with them for an assault by contact?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
You should always consult with an attorney rather than talk with the prosecuting attorney. The prosecuting attorney is her attorney (sort of.) They are not just going to take your word over your daughter's word.

Can I have a concealed gun license and handgun & shotgun if my significant other is a convicted federal felon in Texas?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
He cannot own one. You can. However, it could get very sticky if they raid the house and guns are in the house that he owns. Best not to get him in trouble, unless you want to.
