How do I motion to alter conditions of my deferred adjudication?

Answered by attorney Tristan Nicolas Legrande
Criminal Law lawyer at LeGrande Law
Well, there are not any forms. You would have to hire a lawyer to do it for you, or go down to the County Law library and figure it out.  Everything you would need to do it on your own is down at the law library. Good luck!

How do I get my property back?

Answered by attorney Tristan Nicolas Legrande
Criminal Law lawyer at LeGrande Law
You can file a motion with the court to return the seized property. If it is worth a significant amount of money, you can hire an attorney to assist (otherwise the attorney will cost as much as the property and it is not worth it).  Good luck.

Will a possession charge under 7411 show up on FBI background check if it’s dismissed?

Answered by attorney Matthew David Sharp
Criminal Law lawyer at The Law Office of Matthew D. Sharp
If you did deferred adjudication then the FBI will be able to see it. You can have the record sealed so that most people cannot see it, but Law Enforcement will be exempt from the order sealing your record.
