Cops fond my son drugs in my car what i do

Answered by attorney Tristan Nicolas Legrande
Criminal Law lawyer at LeGrande Law
You should make direct contact with a few criminal defense attorneys to set up consultations regarding your case. Then, after meeting with a few, choose the one you trust to defend your case. PCS 4-200g is a 2nd degree felony. The punishment can be enhanced if you have prior felony convictions. Possession requires INTENT. You must intentionally and knowingly possess an illegal substance (like the 4-200g of CS). If you did not put it there, or drive the vehicle without knowing it was there, you do not have the intent required for a conviction. If you are not guilty, do not plead guilty - just make sure your lawyer knows how to defend these types of cases.  Good luck.

If I get sentenced on an F4 felony and PO my attorney appeals the sentence, what happens in the meantime as far as with myself?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
This is not a Texas question. Put in your state to get a local lawyer to answer. If this was Texas, if you received less than 10 years, you could post an appellate bond and the sentence would be stayed.

Can I charge my wife with theft if she sold something of mine without my permission?

Answered by attorney Nathaniel D Shafer
Criminal Law lawyer at Natty Shafer Law
Probably not. If you are legally married, then she has legal ownership in the electric bass, too. Unless you are separated and their is some sort of court order preventing her from selling anything, she can't be charged criminally.
