Is it possible to get a terroristic threat conviction expunged from my record?

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
You can only get an expunction for cases where you were found not guilty, that were dismissed for cause (agreed to by the State) or you got deferred probation for a Class C misdemeanor. You are not eligible if there was a conviction.

How can I stop someone from accusing my daughter of breaking and entering?

If it is false then it is probably the tort of defamation of character for which you can sue. Even in small claims court. But there is obviously no way you can gag the accuser.

How do I get firearm ownership if I have a previous case of embezzlement?

Answered by attorney Gregory J. Straub (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Elmbrook Law Offices, LLC
As a convicted felon, you will not be able to possess a firearm. The only two possibilities that would allow you to possess a firearm would be a pardon by the governor or to have the case reopened and the charges reduced to a misdemeanor. Otherwise, with the felony upon your record, you will never be able to possess a firearm.
