Should I be worried that he might get out sooner than his 20 years if his attorney filed a notice of appeal to second DCA recently?

Criminal Law lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
You have not given enough information for a solid answer. But if it was a minimum mandatory sentence with no possibility of parole, perhaps he would not do just the usual 85% of the sentence. You can look him up on the Florida Department of Corrections website and find out what they say his release date is. You can also get notifications from VINE.

What will happen if I was pulled over with a suspended license?

Answered by attorney Harley Ives Gutin
Criminal Law lawyer at Gutin Wolverton
You will be charged with Driving While License Suspended with Knowledge or possibly without knowledge. If you have no record the consequences are minor and you should go get your DL back ASAP so you can show the prosecutor and Judge you really do have the right to drive or are serious about following the law.

Someone opened my mail and is trying to sell my social security card what do i do?

Answered by attorney Diane Buerger
Criminal Law lawyer at The Buerger Law Firm, P.A.
If the residence where you were living (and where the mail was opened without your permission) is within city limits, call the Police Department in that city to file a complaint/charge.  If, however, the residence is not located within city limits, then contact the Sheriff's Office for that county to file a complaint/charge.  Make sure you provide only the absolute truth -- do not embellish.
