What should I do about my second drug charge?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Nothing. You should hire a damn good attorney and fight them both. The judge or DA will never listen to a guy with two drug charges. You need to hire the best lawyer you can afford.

Will warrants show up on a background check?

Answered by attorney Robert W. Eutsler (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Eutsler Law Firm
It all depends on what databases your employer uses. There is no one background check. An FBI top security clearance is different than a commercial database like Publicdata.com that only picks up jailable offenses.

How long can you be in jail in Texas without being indicted?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
They have given him a bond and now, if he can't afford to bail out, they can keep him until his trial date or until he accepts a plea agreement. Best case is to hire a great attorney to try and get the bail reduced.
