What happens if I lie about my husbands case and I am set up?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
DO NOT LIE. Why would you do that? If you lie under oath, you are committing felony perjury. You do not have to volunteer to testify but if you are subpoenaed, you must tell the truth - it does not matter which side subpoenas you. Forget that. You should not risk your freedom for a drug dealing, cheating jerk who may be setting you up.

What is the penalty for breaking probation by living in a different county than the one you were registered in?

I do not understand why this is a Michigan question. While he was on probation did the authorities know his correct address and contact information, did he comply with the probation order? I would have to have many, many more details in order to form a firm opinion.
