Are my charges for aggravated assault dropped if the other person dies before I ever get a court date?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
No, they can still pursue you. And hope to death wasn't as a result of your aggressive assault because then they can try homicide.

Can I carry a gun if I am on probation for a DUI misdemeanor charge?

Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
Your question is not specific enough to answer, are you speaking of a concealed weapon, or an open carry. Additionally, it would be necessary to look into the actual charges which you are on probation for and of the terms of your probationary release. I would suggest that you call an attorney order to speak to the one who provided you your DUI defense.

How to get court records for sealed records for personal purposes.?

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
This is a common problem I encounter in my immigration practice. Hopefully your attorney has copies of the records. If they were expunged you can't get the record because it has been destroyed. See your immigration attorney to get help.
