If I was jailed for possesion can I get an expungement?

Kavan Singh Grover
Answered by attorney Kavan Singh Grover (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Ehrenclou & Grover LLC
Whether you are eligible for expungement of that arrest will depend on how that case was resolved and whether you have any similar arrests on your criminal history. I recommend that you get a copy of your criminal history from your local police department, and then consult with an attorney to determine whether you are eligible for expungement.

Only the judge and maybe prosecutor knows what will happen. I know worse things will occur IF you go without an attorney.

What is the distance a police officer can stop you from a traffic violation?

The police officer can stop you the next day, five miles away. That was easy. If you hit someone and flee the scene. You can be arrested in another county, three weeks later IF they have reliable evidence that you hit and ran.
