2nd violation probation

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn

Properly handled by a competent attorney, you should be able to expect one of several possibilities depending on the judge: reinstatement with an extension of probation, reinstatement and termination, some period of county jail as a penalty with reinstatement or termination now if there were no other violations while on probation. It is doubtful that there should be a revocation and prison sentence with the facts as you present them. Drug treatment might be required in a few of the courts.
