Answered by attorney Loren M Lambert (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Arrow Legal Solutions Group, P.C.
You may have a valid defense because most losses of action require that a certain state of mind be proven. If because of a sleepwalking disorder you did not have the state of my necessary to prove the criminal charges you may be able to prevail against the charges. Share this information with your defense attorney. I would not have any direct discussions with anyone about the situation except for a defense counsel.

What will they do to my sister on her first charge?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
Armed robbery is an extremely serious charge carrying a possible sentence of up to life in prison. Unless there are some serious issues or problems with her case, no matter what they offer her she is probably facing some prison time. Make sure she is represented by an experienced criminal defense attorney.

It depends on what jurisdiction in which your case is pending. Reckless driving is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 12 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. Generally, you would not receive further jail time.
