How many years will I get if I took a lady's purse but didn't hurt her?

Answered by attorney Daniel J. Pingelton
Criminal Law lawyer at The Pingelton Law Firm
You want kudos for not hurting her? You're a thief. Maybe she needed that money for her child; or a sick relative; or maybe she was going to donate it to charity. So you definitely hurt someone. We just don't know who. How much time you'll get depends on a lot of things. The two biggest factors will be your record and the amount of money you stole. Talk to your lawyer about this. If you can't afford one, the government (i.e. taxpayers) will provide one to you free of charge. Because even thieves like you are entitled to representation in this great country, people like you notwithstanding.

How do I reduce fees for multiple tickets?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Unfortunately, the State doesn't work like that. They are all in different counties, so what one offers the others don't really care. You are gonna have to "untangle the web" and start off with the earliest case. I'd suggest hiring one attorney to handle it, but know it will cost a few thousand dollard. Or you can try a traffic ticket attorney in each county. It's gonna be a pain, but you have to do it to keep your license valid.

How can I be charged with theft when my ex boyfriend bought me a car?

Answered by attorney Robert W. Eutsler (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Eutsler Law Firm
If you can prove it was a gift, you are not guilty. He gave a different story to the authorities to cause them to believe you obtained possession without permission. You need a good defense lawyer.
