How do I get to know if there is an active warrant?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
Go see your probation officer. IF there is a warrant you will be arrested, and your question will be answered. I suspect that the judge did sign the VOP petition, especially when it is only the probation officer's position begin explained to the judge.

What charges does my boyfriend face if he was caught stealing lottery tickets from the gas station where he worked?

Charges have not been brought, which could be as serious as embezzlement, but would most likely be brought as a theft, and you need to know if he will go to prison. You gave no amount and that is crucial. But prison is not normally the result in a first offense, probation is.

If my husband attempted suicide and was being charged with possession, how can they charge him if the weapon wasn't even his?

A convicted felon cannot possess a firearm. You asked how they can charge him. They have facts that show that he was in possession of a firearm, and that he is a convicted felon. He needs to get a private attorney.
