How time will my boyfriend serve if he is incarcerated for a probation violation?

It depends on the judge. It depends on what he promised the judge when he received the sentence ("I don't have a drug problem"). It depends on how similar the new offense is to the old offense. It depends on how much time went by between his release and his violation. There are too many variables to predict. See website for both info on violations of probation and how sentences are constructed.
