Get an attorney with experience in this area immediately. Do NOT give a single word to the police except "I want My Attorney". You have a right to a polygraph to help clear yourself but the police will threaten you with it as though it is THEIR right. You need to have a private one done first to see how you do. Some people, even while telling the truth, do not do well. Your private one is privileged if set up by your attorney, so it will only be reported to the police if you do well. This is one of the most serious and hard to defend charges under the law. If you need further input use follow up contact

What will happen with a disorderly conduct summons?

Answered by attorney Carl Scott Spector
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Carl Spector
You have to go to court on the date the summons says to go and find out if the charges were filed. If the charges were not filed you will be told that you may be notified if the charges are filed within the next 90 days and then you will have to return to court to face the charges. If the charges are filed when you go to court you will plead not guilty and I suggest you hire an experienced criminal defense attorney to represent you. Good Luck

Clearly you could be subject to a criminal charge if you were sending checks out on an account you weren't supposed to have access to. But the fact you weren't benefiting yourself would be a key defense.
