How long can you be in jail without going to court?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
It depends on what you are jailed for: (1) bench warrant on traffic citation; (2) felony warrant, where detainee is claiming he is trying to retain an attorney; and/or (3) parole hold. Why has an attorney NOT been retained since March 23rd (more than 60 days).

How much of time will my brother have after 3 charges?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
This will depend on a number of factors and much more information is needed before an adequate answer can be given. For one thing, what is he on probation for? His probation is likely to be revoked and he can be re-sentenced up the maximum amount allowed by law. He is definitely looking at significant prison time either way. Make sure he is represented by an experienced criminal defense attorney from the area who can perhaps minimize the damage.

She will be billed for the 911 calls first. When she refuses to pay for the calls, then she might be criminally charged.
