How can I know if my case is dismissed or not and what does dismissed mean?

Answered by attorney Kelly Wright Kelly (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Law Office of Kelly Kelly
From the information you provided it appears you were sentenced to deferred adjudication. If you complete the deferred time period and all conditions the case is dismissed however your record will still show the arrest and charge. You are eligible for an order of non-disclosure sealing the record so that potential employers will not see it. I would advise you to contact an attorney to handle the non-disclosure petition as you will want to make sure it is done right.

If i fail a drug test while on pretrial and get arrested can i get bonded out again

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
The answer is that it is up to the judge. You are able to ask for bond but if granted the terms will most likely be very restrictive with frequent drug testing. Your lawyer should be able to get you a bond hearing to determine the terms of a bond.

Can a federal game officer search my vehicle without permission?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
It depends. He can search it if he has reasonable suspicion to be looking for poaching or other types of parks and wildlife stuff. Not to search for weed though.
