Don't do drugs, don't get arrested, don't have contact with the police, get a job, stop being a slacker, go to school. Try those out for a while.

Minors are entitled to Miranda rights just like adults are, which includes the right to have counsel present and the right to remain silent. If the minor invokes either of those two rights or both of them, all interrogation must stop immediately.

Stolen gun found in car dui stop

Answered by attorney Diane Buerger
Criminal Law lawyer at The Buerger Law Firm, P.A.
If it was your car; the gun was found in your car; and the driver is denying it was his or that he put there, I highly recommend you consult with a criminal defense attorney before talking to anyone else regarding the matter.  There are numerous potential ramifications -- including, criminal law ramifications.  Although you are not required by law to have an attorney, I would urge you to consult with one before the time you have to appear.  He/she can then help you determine whether you need to have one with you.
