Contact the clerk's office and figure out what your real date is OR retain an attorney that knows what he/she is doing.

He is in jail because they have proof. Did he have a preliminary hearing? Was the case bound over to Superior Court? Then there is some proof. He is still in jail because you are writing notes on the internet rather than putting money together to retain an attorney.

What happens when you violate probation for a misdemeanor drug charge?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
There is no blanket answer for this question as the outcome depends on a variety of factors: is it his first violation, what his PO will recommend, who the judge is and how likely he is to follow the PO's recommendations, etc. He could be sentenced to jail, more probation, or just a reprimand. His PO should be able to tell him what is likely to happen.
