How can I get a felony expunged if I followed court orders?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
Nothing can be done to seal nor expunge this record. To be eligible for nondisclosure, the person must have successfully completed an eligible deferred adjudication probation and waited the proper time limit. Assaults involving family violence are never subject to nondisclosure thus even if you had finished the probaiton successfully, the case would not be subject to being sealed. To be eligible for an expunction, the case must have been dismissed or the person found not guilty, and then other requirements also apply.

What can I do if I was charged for a burglary while I was under heavy medication?

How do you know you did all that stuff in such specific detail if you have no memory of it? It doesn't even sound like you stole anything from what you described. Have a criminal attorney review the evidence against you in order to give you more specific advise to your situation. Even if the hospital was negligence, that would never absolve you of any criminal liability. At best, you could enact a civil action against them for damages.
