It's a clear violation court could give her jail time or just reinstate probation with warning. Jail time could be the max sentence on her initial conviction.

Do I need an attorney or just talk to states attorney at a pre-trial hearing with them for an assault by contact?

Cynthia Russell Henley

You should always consult with an attorney rather than talk with the prosecuting attorney. The prosecuting attorney is her attorney (sort of.) They are not just going to take your word over your daughter's word.

What steps can my girlfriend take to remove a domestic violence warrant against me?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Tell her to call the police and if not, then call the DA. But most likely, you will have to turn yourself in, hire an attorney, and fight it. They will think you beat her into recanting her story.
