Go to your court date, tell the judge you cannot afford to hire an attorney, and the court will appoint one to represent you.

Hire attorney in the jurisdiction where the warrant has been issued and pay him to attempted to take care of the issues. As to whether or not the warrant will show up on a employment check will be determined by how far the employer goes into the record. If he does a thorough search most assuredly an outstanding warrant will be revealed.

Can I be charged or arrested for theft without evidence?

Answered by attorney Russell S Pietryga (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Pietryga Law Office
You are presumed innocent. That means, if the prosecutor decides to charge you with the theft, they will have to prove it "beyond a reasonable doubt." But, yes, you can be charge. People are charged for things they did not do all the time. Hope this helps.
