The Hon. Vincent Le Blon (Ret.) joined the firm in April 2022 after serving 25 years as a Judge of the Superior Court. During his tenure on the bench, Judge Le Blon served in all divisions of the Court: Criminal (1997 – 1998), Family (1998 – 2002), Civil (2002 to 2017) and Chancery (2017 – 2022). At the time of his retirement, Judge Le Blon was the Presiding Judge, Chancery Division, Middlesex County.

Judge Le Blon handled a wide variety of legal disputes over the course of his judicial career, ranging from simple torts to professional liability of all licensed professionals to product liability and toxic torts to commercial and business disputes to environmental to insurance coverage to unfair competition, restrictive covenants, receiverships and injunctive relief. He presided over hundreds of jury and bench trials and thousands of discovery disputes and conducted thousands of settlement conferences. He brings a wealth of experience and talent to resolving disputes and managing discovery as well as advising clients on litigation strategies.

Judge Le Blon is a member of the firm’s Mediation, Arbitration and Special Master practice department. He serves as a mediator or arbitrator in a broad range of legal disputes, and as special discovery master, monitor and special fiscal agent.

Judge Le Blon draws on his experience to advise attorneys and clients on trial and appellate court strategies, and how best to frame issues and present arguments through strategy consulting and mock trial / mock argument exercises.

Judge Le Blon started his career as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Middlesex County Somerset County Prosecutor’s Offices. He then went into private practice and built a successful law firm in the Township of East Brunswick, where he handled a broad range of legal matters, including civil and criminal litigation, before being appointed to the Superior Court in 1997. A leader in his community, he also served as President of the East Brunswick Township Council, Chair of the East Brunswick Planning Board and Commissioner of the East Brunswick Sewerage Authority.

Judge Le Blon has been admitted to the practice of law in New Jersey (1980) as well as the United States District Court, Third Circuit Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of the United States (1986).

Judge Le Blon has been married to his wife Deirdre for 45 years and has three wonderful daughters.
