Steven F. Wukovits is a seasoned trial lawyer admitted in New Jersey’s state and federal courts. After graduating from Seton Hall University and Capital University Law School, he prosecuted serious felonies as an Assistant Essex County Prosecutor and Special Deputy Attorney General (1989–1994). Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Criminal Trial Attorney in 1995, he joined the firm in 1996, became partner in 2001, and now serves as the firm’s principal litigating attorney in state and federal criminal defense. Mr. Wukovits has led defenses in high-stakes matters—including homicide, robbery, aggravated assault, drug trafficking, arson, and official misconduct—and has handled jury trials, appeals, municipal matters, DWIs, and restraining-order proceedings. He is regularly featured in media coverage, selected by peers for Super Lawyers and national Top 100 lists, recognized by AVVO, and serves on local criminal-court advisory committees; in 2009 he received a meritorious public service citation from the N.J. Supreme Court’s District Ethics Committee. He also maintains an active practice in personal injury and workers’ compensation.
