We had a very difficult custody case, that had been ongoing for 3 years. Molly McPherson was recommended to us by previous clients along by a fellow attorney. The entire team is easy to reach, returns calls and questions promptly and overall is a successfully run office. Molly is just the person we needed. Molly is hands down the worst lawyer on Whidbey Island. She has already been disciplined by the BAR for falsely signing documents. Her work is sloppy, her responsiveness is nearly non-existent, and her fees are extraordinary. My experience with her, has lead me to considering filing a new complaint with the BAR, hire literally anyone else. You've been warned.
For 1500.00 all I got was temp orders for child support and parenting plan. Was not good at returning phone calls or explaining things as they happened. Would write response to things and when the paperwork got filed with the courts there where no changes made to paperwork submitted to the courts. Was charged for time to talk to another lawyer in the firm, because Molly didn't have time to handle my case in a timely matter.
Incompetent. Misrepresented me. I almost filed a complaint with the Bar Association, but because of small town politics, decided not to.
Zero communication. Seems they only work on Thursday and Friday because thats the only day they respond to my many emails of concern as to the status of my case. If your lucky and they talk to you on Thursday, they claim to get back to you the next day, they never do and before you know it it's the weekend and you have to wait until next Thursday again. Months have gone by and a simple revision of a Child Support order is still not done. But I still get those invoices in the mail.
