Her primary focus lies in disability insurance claims falling under the purview of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Additionally, she provides representation to individuals with individual disability insurance, catering to professionals such as doctors, lawyers, and dentists.
As a disability insurance attorney at Dabdoub Law Firm, Emily serves clients nationwide, confronting major disability insurance providers such as Lincoln Financial, Hartford, Aetna, MetLife, Unum, and others. She expertly navigates cases at all stages, from initial claim filing to appeal and litigation.
Emily's academic journey includes graduating with honors, cum laude, from the University of Miami, School of Law. During her time there, she contributed to the Hispanic Law Students Association, assuming a leadership role and moderating discussions on the challenges faced by Hispanic attorneys. Additionally, Emily served as a staff editor for the Inter-American Law Review.
Prior to her legal career, Emily earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Florida International University. Balancing full-time studies with employment as a legal assistant for a debt collections law firm, she gained valuable insights into legal practice.
