I experienced an employment termination without cause at United Parcel Service (UPS) June 15, 2023. I mailed a written request for consult July 16. I mailed a second request for consult the last week of August. I had prepared a brief document outlining all the factors of my proposed case. The document had taken hours to prepare, included every detail leading to the unjust termination. Unemployment had already approved benefits. I was looking to find an attorney. He came on like a fraternity brother from law school, friendly but bossy, not that there's anything wrong with fraternity brothers from law school. When I asked to email the document, he told me No, he wanted me to tell him about the case. I said that the document contained complete information, I couldn't stay on the phone long, and that I would only be reciting what was on the document. Again, not interested in reading. I'm a grown up. July to early September, for that. I would not recommend him to anyone.
I feel he did a very poor job he was looking to settle settle settle and after what I feel was an unfair settlement he never explanation for the settlement check being taxes almost 50 percent I was so disgusted with what was done to me I was discriminated no justice hes a very pathetic excuse for an attorney he will not stand up for you
they lie to their clientele in order to get business right now I'm fighting to get my retainer back from them. the attorney lied to me saying i was discriminated against and filed nothing on my behalf case 2016-cv-09043-dj we are now in court don't end up where i am with these crooks.
