Patrick is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review. Before law school, Patrick received a B.A. summa cum laude in Political Science from the University of Houston Honors College.

Patrick was raised in Natchitoches, Louisiana. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst. During his four-year tour of duty in the Marines from 2001-2005, he served overseas in various countries and capacities. For his service, he received a Naval Achievement Medal, as well as several commendations.

Patrick has also been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. Prior to this, Patrick was selected by National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40 from 2014-2024. In 2024 and 2025, Patrick was selected to the list of Super Lawyers® in the area of Personal Injury in Texas. Each year, Thomson Reuters selects the top 5% of lawyers to the list. Prior to receiving this recognition, Patrick was a Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ in Personal Injury from 2017-2023.

Patrick is the former president of the Montgomery County Bar Association and served as the Panel Chair of the District 3, Panel 2 Grievance Committee for six years. He also serves on the Texas Bar Foundation Nominating Committee. Patrick and his family reside in Conroe, Texas. He is a Christian, is involved in his local church, and speaks Spanish.

We highly recommend Scott Law Firm. When our little dog was viscously attacked and killed by dogs running loose, he took on our case and saw it through to trial and secured a huge judgement. My dad originally had a different lawyer who was unable to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for him. He was told about Patrick and hired him. Great attorney and very helpful with my daughters case! He speaks in terms that everyone can fully understand, answer all questions we had so that nothing is left up in the air.
