Hired Law Firm

Sheila Zakre was under contract with both my spouse and myself for our child’s special education needs. We paid 2 invoices in full, showing good faith. My spouse and I fired for her rudeness and for breaking the terms of her own contract, including a missed email & document, which led to her unpreparedness for a client meeting. In that meeting, she treated me with arrogance and gave open ended advice that causes a client to ask more questions and run the clock. When we fired Ms. Zakre after the last very poor client meeting, she demanded pay ($315). Ms. Zakre produced poor billing itemization in her final bill. When we disputed the final bill, Zakre offered to reduce the bill by only $30, which we saw as unreasonable. We offered to meet her 1/2 way on the $315, but Zakre rejected this. Instead, she filed a small claim for $315 plus filing fee, and it seems she has plenty of billable hours to waste, because she sued us for less than an hour of her normal hourly rate plus court fees.

Hired Law Firm

The practice of helping the disabled in NH is a joke to begin with, starting at the Governor's Council on Disability and going through the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights and to the Superior Courts that handle disability cases so badly they are using laws dated in the 70s and replaced in the Amendments Acts of 2009, which they ignore. {para}In my opinion Zakre, if there isn't any money in the case, they couldn't care less if a disabled person is being discriminated against.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
