I hired the firm Divorce for Men Only in 2008 to represent me in the property division part of my divorce when my previous lawyer got sick and the owner, Neil Holmes, subcontracted the work to Dan Ryan. Ryan was not only laughed at by opposing counsel, according to a woman not involved in our case who overheard them talking in the restroom, but he billed me over $650,000 for his poorly-documented "work" on the case. I'm sure he ripped me off. When I went to binding arbitration the same year to try to recover some of the money Holmes and Ryan took from me, I got a measly, $40,000 judgment. Holmes and Ryan filed for bankruptcy to avoid paying even that.
