My experience with Cooper and Elliot was awesome. I worked with Adam Richards and this guy is a pro. His expertice and knowledge were unmatched by the opposing counsel and I felt they were intimidated by Adam. He was kind, knowledgeable and was very responsive to all my questions. If you need a business attorney you will not find a better one in Ohio period. Also there is an energy in the office that can't be explained from the receptionist to the other attorneys. You can tell they are they to help people.

Hired Attorney Mr. Rex Elliott

This firm was suggested by a friend of the family.{para}The best way to describe my experience is that they were not around to support me when I needed them the most. When they were there, I got the feeling they were not fully committed to me nor championed me like you want a law firm to do.{para}I had to do some of the negotiations directly with opposing council and made decisions without the legal support I needed at critical times as a result.{para}I will say the office staff was friendly and helpful.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
