Butler Prather LLP is Georgia's premier plaintiffs' firm, specializing in trucking, products liability, personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, auto defects, class action cases and wrongful death.

Butler Prather LLP has a practice limited to litigation and trial of substantial civil damage suits. The firm has developed expertise in carefully targeted areas: products liability, particularly those cases involving automotive and health-related products; motor common carrier cases; class actions, particularly those cases related to consumer rights; economic torts arising in commercial and business contexts; catastrophic injuries arising from car accidents; premises liability; aviation; and environmental/toxic torts cases.

The firm has extensive trial experience and an exceptional verdict and settlement record. It has extensive experience handling cases of intentional wrongdoing involving claims for punitive damages. Although most of the firm's practice is in Georgia, it has handled cases in 27 states and maintains an aviation department to facilitate travel.

By design, the firm has and will remain small and specialized, but the firm is frequently associated to assist other lawyers and firms in significant tort cases, particularly those which seem destined for possible trial.
