Nicholas G. Callas has practiced law since 1990. Located in Columbia, SC, our firm is committed to providing intense, committed, quality representation for clients involved in personal injury, workers’ compensation, and social security disability cases. Nicholas G. Callas has an extensive background in workers’ compensation, social security disability and personal injury litigation.

Mr. Callas graduated, cum laude, in 1982 from Boston College and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1990 from the University of South Carolina.

After serving as law clerk to the Honorable Luke N. Brown, Fourteenth Judicial Circuit, Ridgeland, South Carolina in 1990 and as law clerk to the Honorable William H. Ballenger, Tenth Judicial Circuit, Walhalla, South Carolina, from 1991 to 1992, Mr. Callas worked as an Assistant State Prosecuting Attorney, Fifth Circuit Solicitor, Richland County.

Mr. Callas is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Association for Justice (Board of Governors, 1997-2000), SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors), and the Injured Workers’ Advocates. Admitted to practice in all South Carolina state courts, Mr. Callas is a frequent speaker at legal seminars. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Nicholas Callas has been given an AV-Rating from Martindale Hubbell, the highest proficiency and ethical ratings given to attorneys & has been listed among the “Legal Elite in the Midlands” for attorneys practicing workers’ compensation on behalf of claimants.

I highly recommend Nicholas Callas! He and his associates went above and beyond! They basically do everything for you. I never had to go to his office. All appointments and updates were done virtual or through email. They are compassionate and responsive. They keep you updated each step of the way. He explained everything so it was easy for me to understand. He won my case in less than 2 months. As most of you know when filing for SSD can take up to months or possibly a couple of years. I had applied for a disability twice and was denied both times, I looked on line for a disability attorney and Mr. Callas name came up, I read his reviews and I was impressed with the reviews. I called him and I must say I was surprised with him no matter when I called or sent him an e-mailed he would always respond back to me within 30 mins to an hour. Even if he was not able to talk right then he would let you know and he would call back as soon as he could and I really liked that. If you want someone that’s concern about you and will do his best to help you win then call Mr. Callas he’s the one for you, I’m so Thankful I found him. We won the case

I had a rather complicated disability case related to a delicate and embarrassing gynecological issue. Nick Callas was sensitive and compassionate throughout the whole process, working with my husband and I to get the best case results. When we went to court before the administrative judge, Nick was fully prepared and his many years of experience showed. In the end, my case was decided fully in my favor. I would highly recommend Nick Callas to others needing an attorney to guide them through the very confusing and challenging Social Security disability process.
