Hired Mr. Shapiro for a traffic violation. After meeting with him the first time and paying his fee, no follow up to let me know what was going on. His office called the day before trial to remind me. Maybe my case wasn't a big deal for him (he defends major criminal cases) so he showed no interest. He made easy money for the 5 minutes he devoted to my case. When he spoke before the judge, he didn't get the facts straight. He got me PBJ. I could have done same with my clean driving record.
Worst Law Firm Ever! I should have gone with my first instinct. Paid all of this money for him to offer my son a deal before he ever spoke with the state's attorney. Jason is rude, sends nasty letters and pretty much works for the state and not you. His job is to put as many black men behind bars as possible and take your money. Save your money and go with someone who really cares and listens to what you want. You are the client. We just gave away $15,000 that we did not have. We thought we were going with the best and ended up with the worst.
It is obvious that the main purpose of this firm making money. Apparently because of the busyness they have absolutely no time for the client. Don't keep promises, not return calls, and even in court, they run from room to room trying to think of everything on the go. And the price is at least twice as high then others. It's easy to get the same result with public defendant. Wasted a lot of money.
