Elizabeth "Liz" German, a Partner at Robinson & Henry, leads the firm’s Bankruptcy practice and heads the Probate and Elder Law team. With significant experience in both federal and state courts, Liz is an accomplished litigator adept at representing bankruptcy clients in adversary proceedings, foreclosure actions, and against creditors violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
In her probate and elder law practice, Liz offers clients a balance of compassion and pragmatism, guiding them through complex issues such as long-term care planning, Medicaid pre-planning, and probate litigation.
Liz has a proven track record in handling a variety of challenging cases, including successfully discharging a client from a significant SBA loan through a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, negotiating modifications to Chapter 13 repayment plans, and defending against conservatorship actions.
Her professional accolades include being named to the Top 40 Under 40 by The National Advocates and The National Trial Lawyers, and she holds a Lead Counsel rating from 2015. Liz is also an accomplished author and speaker on topics ranging from bankruptcy to finances and mortgages.
