Hired Attorney Mr. J. Smith

Travis Smith was my court appointed attorney for a criminal case we didn't win I but that's not his fault he got the best deal he could and helped me above and beyond what was his job. I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer. He explained everything to me. Gave me sound advice and even when he was busy he always kept me informed.

Hired Attorney Mr. J. Smith

Mr. Travis Smith, Attorney at law is a horrible attorney for the public defenders office. He will not return phone calls to his clients, he will not call them when they ask for a call back, and he is rude to them on the phone. Also his office receptionist is just as rude to clients as travis is. If you get him assigned to you better ask for a different attorney quick. Your life is in his hands and he is not reliable. This is my opinion.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.

Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
