I came to work with Attorney Eric Schweitzer through a referral from another firm in Fresno. The nature of my case, in other Attorney's opinions was not only unwinnable, but many barely looked at the documents or assumed a 1203.4 dismissal. When I was referred to Eric, he reviewed my documents, stated this was a PC1385 dismissal and would be an easy fix (In 1997, the clerk neglected to mark the one box needed for a PC 1385) and got to work. 45 days later, we're in front of a judge. The judge heard the motion to fix the dismissal, approved it, and went so far as to state that all civil rights, including firearm possession fully restored as well. This due to the motion Eric drafted. Very Thorough and insightful. A dismissal in 1997. Firearm denial in 2019. A four-year battle with the FBI and CADOJ. A 20 minute conversation with Eric. 10 minutes in front of the judge. Success. If you're having any civil rights issues, rest assured, if it can be won, Eric will get it handled!

Eric has been an exceptional resource in an on-going legal issue. He is absolutely thorough and knows the law. He is not afraid to pursue issues to the highest of courts. He does not give up, ever. He is his own person, i.e. "different" than perhaps attorneys that fall into their pattern. But, because he is so persistent, he is in a league all his own and will move out of his "box" to get justice. Still waters run deep - and that sort of describes Eric.
