Bar Fellowshipof the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has been a Delegate to the Council of Delegates of the Ohio State Bar Association since 1990; she is a long-standing member of the Family Law Committee, of which she was previously Chair; and she served on the Family Law Specialty Certification Board. She is also a member of the Cleveland Bar Association and has likewise served as its Chair and member of the Professional Ethics Committee. As a member of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, Mrs. Akers-Parry was Chair of that Committee, chair of the Annual Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and a member of the Certified Grievance Committee. A 1976 graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Mrs. Akers-Parry attended Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate degree. She was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1976 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 2008. Prior to founding Wolf and Akers, Mrs. Akers-Parry was associated with the firm of Schwarzwald, Robiner, Wolf and Rock, LPA, in Cleveland, Ohio, where she limited her practice to family law. She was formerly a principal in Manlove, Manlove, Rowley and Fuhry in Geauga County, Ohio. Mrs. Akers-Parry practices in Cuyahoga, Summit, Geauga, Lake, Portage, Medina, Lorain, Erie, Lucas, Wood and other counties in Ohio. She has an Ohio Appellate Court practice and has argued in the Supreme Court of Ohio.
