Hired Attorney Amy Ferguson

Ms. Ferguson did an outstanding job of helping with a process I was unfamiliar with in a very timely manner. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and is fully versed in all aspects of real estate law.

Knows real estate law. Solves problems. Goes with what customer is trying to accomplish and doesn't take no for an answer. Returns calls. Number 1 in my book and worth every penny she charges.

Hired Attorney Amy Ferguson

Charges people for unnecessary work!! According the ruling against her "the trial court nonetheless erred in awarding attorney fees where there remained issues of fact as to whether the services performed by the association's attorneys were necessary to resolve the disputed claims and whether the Association or its attorneys failure to communicate with the homeowner caused additional and unnecessary legal expenses to be expended." Refuses to communicate. Arrogant and nasty.

Hired Law Firm

This is the one and only time that I sought legal representation of any kind. After giving them a $5,000 retainer fee, I received virtually no communication from the attorney (Tony Martina), who was extremely unresponsive. After three weeks elapsed and zero evidence that any work had been completed on the case, I tried unsuccessfully to speak to the attorney. I proceeded to ask one of the partners to return my retainer. After 12 days, I have yet to have my money returned.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
