About Sean Brown

Sean Brown is a dedicated attorney and lifelong resident of the Chicagoland area. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Dubuque and his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Licensed to practice in Illinois, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern Districts of Illinois and Indiana, Attorney Brown is also admitted to the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Sean began his legal career as a litigation paralegal, assisting in defending Fortune 500 companies. He later served as a prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, working in the appellate, child support enforcement, juvenile delinquency, and criminal divisions. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
