Sanjay earned his J.D. cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law. While in law school, Sanjay served as a law clerk for the Illinois Department of Insurance where he supported the Assistant General Counsel and gained valuable experience through administrative hearings, legal writing, and legal research. He also served as an intern for Just the Beginning, an organization dedicated to developing and nurturing interest in the law among young persons from socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds underrepresented in the legal profession.

Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Business where he was an active member of the Finance and Investment Club.

Outside the office, Sanjay enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching sports, and staying active through weightlifting and running.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
